Artichoke Heart Dip

This dip is a classic hot hors d'oeuvre. It is served best on unsalted toasts or crackers. Cheese-based crackers are an interesting combination with this cheesy dip.

The color theme for the party may suggest that this dish would look stunning in white porcelain or rustic pottery style bowls. A small serving spoon should be available to apply the dip to plates or crackers.

It can be fixed in advance and heated in the microwave. Be sure to heat, stir and re-heat if using the microwave.

The dip ingredients are:

1 envelope of Onion Soup Mix

1 cup of Mayonnaise

1 can of artichoke hearts drained and chopped

8 ounces of sour cream

1 cup of shredded Swiss cheese

Preheat oven to medium heat or 350 degrees F.

IN an oven-proof bowl mix all ingredients together.

Bake in oven for 30 minutes.

Divide the hot dip into smaller dipping and serve on platter or tray with with chips, crackers, or celery sticks.
